Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago in stores February 23rd
Shearwater continue to explore the beauty, menace, and fragility of the natural world – and that increasingly rare species, the indivisible album – on The Golden Archipelago, the band’s most absorbing and accomplished work to date.
Available February 23, 2010, the album is available in two unique US import configurations: a super-deluxe CD version and 120 gram LP with two bonus tracks and MP3 download coupon.
The initial CD pressing comes packaged with 50-page perfect-bound book with dossier of records, photos, regulations and images on islands, displaced peoples, immigration records and more – deluxe in slipcase FOR SAME PRICE as regular CD.
The band will be on the road immediately upon release in March-April, followed by a full summer of festivals and an additional round of dates in Sept-Nov
